Aaron Wise is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. In 2018 he earned his inaugural win on the PGA Tour at the AT&T Byron Nelson and was named the 2018 Rookie of the Year.

Was born in Cape Town, South Africa but moved to the United States at age 3.

Aaron Wise was one of the most hotly recruited golfers in America when he came out of high school. Since his successful college career at Oregon, Wise has gone on to become a successful PGA Tour player.

He was a high recruited by a number of colleges for a golf scholarship, he eventually chose the University of Oregon where he helped the Oregon Ducks win the NCAA title in 2016 where he also won a NCAA individual title.

After the NCAA championship Wise turned professional. His professional debut was at the U.S. Open, which was also his first major championship appearance. Unfortunately, he missed the cut there.

He won his first championship on the PGA Tour Canada’s Syncrude Oil Country Championship event.

In 2017, Wise earned the PGA Tour card via winning Air Capital Classic Tournament. he finished that session as 18th on the Web.com regular-season money list. Wise’s won his first PGA Tour at the Texas AT&T Byron Nelson in 2018.
