How to make Aamras Recipe – Ripe Mango Ras

To begin making the Aamras Recipe, roll the whole mangoes with your palms to soften them.

Peel the mango, transfer all the pulp into a mixer-jar, discarding the seed.

Along with the mango pulp in the jar, add water and adjust the sugar to your liking and depending on the sweetness of the mango.

Pulse it until smooth. Keep in fridge for some time and serve cold along with your meal.

Serve this delicious Aamras recipe along with Puri Recipe, Batata Nu Shaak and Mumbai Style Masala Khichia Churi or just enjoy it on its own for your breakfast or evening snack, and you will simply love it.

Oil – 3tbsp
Mustard Seeds – 1tsp
Cumin – 1tsp
Heeng – ½ tsp
Dry red chilli – 1no
Green chilli – 1no
Curry Leaves – few
Ginger chopped – 2 tsp
Onion chopped – 2 tbsp
Raw mango chopped – ½ cup
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Potato boiled & deiced – 2cup s
Salt – to taste
Chilli powder – 2tsp
Mango juice (sweetened) – 500ml


Heat a pan and drizzle oil. Add mustard seeds and once it splutters add cumin, heeng and fry red chilli.

Saute and add green chilli, ginger and onions. Cook for 2 mins and add chopped raw mangoes and cook for 2mins.

Add turmeric, chilli powder, salt and potatoes. Toss the potatoes for 3mins.

Add the sweetened mango juice and let it cook till the curry thicken. Remove to a serving dish and serve it hot.

2 tsp Powdered sugar


Wash the mangoes really good and dry them.

Take the mango and press it carefully from all sides.

Make the mango soft so that all the pulp will be separated from the skin of the mango.

Take a bowl.

Remove the stalk and squeeze the mango in the bowl.

Squeeze the skin and seeds of the mango really good.

Add a little water and powdered sugar.

Beat it well with wooden whisk or “ravi.”

Aamras is already.

Serve it with a dash of ghee.

Ingredients for Mango Milk Shake

Mangoes – 2
Milk – 400 gm (2 glass)
Sugar – 6-7 small table spoon
Ice cubes – 1 small tray

How to make Mango Milk Shake

Boil milk and amke it cool. Wash mangoes, peel and cut them into pieces.

Put these pieces in the mixer jar, add sugar and beat it finely.

Mix milk and ice cubes in it and beat this milk shake again.

Your mango milk shake is ready. Keep it in the glasses and serve them.

If you are not able to use the whole mango at one time then peel it and cut it. Put it in the mixer and add sugar in it and beat it.

Fill it in the air-tight container and keep it in the freezer.

Whenever you want to make a mango milk shake, mix it in the milk and ice cubes and drink it. You can use it for 15-20 days.

Ingredients for Aamras With Kesar Recipe

Ripe Mangoes 1 kilogram
Saffron 1/4 teaspoon
Sugar powdered 1 cup
Milk chilled 2 1/2 cups


Peel the mangoes and roughly cut them into cubes. Put the cubes in a mixer jar.

Add powdered sugar, milk and saffron and blend till smooth. Pour into individual bowls, chill and serve.
