Abhishek Chatterjee was an Indian actor who was known for his work in Bengali cinema.
He made his big screen debut alongside veterans such as Sandhya Roy, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tapas Paul, and Utpal Dutt with the Bengali film Pathbhola (1986) directed by Tarun Majumdar.
After finishing his secondary schooling at the Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School, he graduated from the Seth Anandram Jaipuria College of the University of Calcutta.
Bengali actor Abhishek Chatterjee passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 57 years after his health started to deteriorate. While the exact reason for his death is unknown, several media outlets have reported that the actor succumbed to a cardiac arrest.

But there again in the evening his blood pressure suddenly dropped to 60. At that time he was given a black coffee so that his blood pressure should go high a little bit and then he was sent back to his home.
But after it is he suffered a heart attack and died on the morning of 24th March 2022.
