Asad Ahmed was a Uttar Pradesh gangster. He had lately made headlines after being slain in a shootout with Uttar Pradesh police. Asad was the son of Atiq Ahmed, a prominent criminal turned politician, and Shaista Parveen, his wife.
He has two brothers, one older and one younger. Because of their connection to the Umesh Pal murder case, all are currently in the custody of the Uttar Pradesh Police. Asad attended a reputed school in Lucknow for his education.
He wanted to study law abroad but couldn’t since the authorities hadn’t cleared his passport.

Asad was seen on video during the Pal attack and has been on the run ever since. Ahmed and Ghulam both had an Rs. 5 lakh bounty on their heads. According to police officials, they opened fire on the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force unit, resulting in their deaths.

His father, Atiq Ahmed, is imprisoned in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail, while his uncle, Ashraf, is imprisoned in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly jail.
In their absence, Atiq’s two oldest sons, Umar and Ali, headed the infamous gang during Asad’s studies.
