Dalvin James Cook is an American football running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida State, where he finished his career as the school’s all-time leading rusher.
Cook was drafted by the Vikings in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Earned consecutive Pro Bowl berths in 2019 and 2020.
Had career-highs of 1,557 yards rushing and 16 rushing TDs in 2020, good for 3rd and 2nd, respectively, in Vikings history and 2nd in the NFL for the season.

Even though Cook was a highly rated running back in college before being drafted into the league, some fear that he may not be able to play up to expectation due to injury concerns and off-field legal issues.
Dalvin James Cook was born on the 10th of August 1995 in Opa-Locka, a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. He had his high school education at Miami Central High School where he was an excellent multi-sport athlete, lettering in football and track.
Due to off-field issues, Cook only started playing football from his 2nd season in school but still managed to have an impressive playing time.
As a high school senior, he led his team to emerge victorious in the Class 6A state championship, rushing 177 times for 1,940 yards and 34 touchdowns.
