Hunaid Lakhani was a Pakistani politician, and the founder of Iqra University.
Lakhani was a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, and the chairman of Baitul Mal Sindh.
He died on 8 September 2022 at 49 years of age in Karachi.
Hunaid Lakhani was a popular Pakistani Politician, Philanthropist, and Educationist. He did a lot of work in the education sector of Pakistan. He was currently leading as the head of Bait-ul-Mal (Sindh). He was a chancellor of Iqra University since 1998.
But sadly this legendary personality of Pakistan has left the nation and the world after facing health issues on 8th September 2022.
An Educationist and Philanthropist Hunaid Lakhani has been a favorite person of every Pakistani. He helped and raised the standard of many people connected to him. He use to help poor people and even provided education funds to the needy people in the nation.
But devastating news of his death has mourned the entire education board of Pakistan, especially the Iqra University. Hunaid died on 8th September in Karachi. Social worker Hunaid was 49 years old when he died.
The death news of Hunaid has been confirmed by his secretary Mr. Waqar Lakho.
Waqar shared in media that Mr. Lakhani traveled to Thatta on 5th September 2022 to mark his presence in the flood relief activity. But when he returned back to Karachi he experienced a high fever.
After which his condition became worse and later he got diagnosed with dengue.
He was admitted to Clifton hospital on 7th September 2022. Later he breathed his last breath on 8th September inside the hospital. His Funeral occurred on 9th September 2022 at Masjid-e-Saheem in DHA’s Khayaban-e-Rahat.
Hunaid Lakhani was a citizen of Karachi. He was born and brought up in Pakistan. Hunaid shared his birthdate on Instagram as 1st August 1973. He used to distribute food and medical supplements on the occasion of his birthday in the backward areas of Pakistan.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he completed his matriculation studies at BVS Parsi High School. Then in 1998, he had his Bachelor of Business Administration from American InterContinental University. He was also having OPM in business from Harvard Business School.
Hunaid Lakhani spent his life in Pakistan but has never shared in media who were his parents and siblings. He was a man who believes that every Pakistani citizen is his brother and sister.
