Love’s uncle, Mike, is a founding member of The Beach Boys and brother of Love’s father, Stan. Mike and Stan’s cousins include the brothers Brian Wilson (the Beach Boys’ mastermind), Carl Wilson, and Dennis Wilson.
Love’s aunt, Kathleen McCartney Hearst, was an accomplished triathlete. He has an older brother, Collin, and a younger sister, Emily. His middle name, Wesley, is in honor of Wes Unseld, the former Washington Bullets center and the Loves’ family friend.
