Rolling Stone described Trainor as 2014’s “Most Unlikely Pop Star”. Following the release of “All About That Bass”, Billboard’s Andrew Hampp reported that Trainor had “become a model of self-acceptance for kids across the globe”.
The Guardian’s Caroline Sullivan called Trainor “the poster girl for the larger woman” and “pop’s emblem for self-acceptance”.
