Sarwar rose to fame in the early 1980s when his Nohas became popular around the world which earned him international recognition and popularity amongst Shia Muslims.
His recitation is popular in Asian and Muslim countries wherever Shia or Suni community lives.
Sarwar started reciting Nohan when he was just four along with his mother and from there he has never looked back.
