Roman Kemp is a 28-year-old TV and radio presenter, who hosts Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp
He wakes up 3.7 million listeners across the UK every week and can be heard weekday mornings from 6-10am and has recently made a documentary looking into men’s mental health, called Our Silent Emergency.
Alongside his work at Capital, Roman is known for appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside his dad Martin Kemp and for finishing as a runner-up in 2019’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Roman is the son of Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp and Shirlie Kemp, who was one half of pop duo Pepsi and Shirlie that appeared alongside George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in Wham!
Roman and Martin have appeared on TV many times together, including sitting on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa and hosting their own Sunday morning show on ITV – Martin & Roman’s Sunday Best!
Before entering the jungle in 2019 he said he’d like the nation to get to know him for him, explaining: “I am always referred to as Martin Kemp’s son so it would be nice for everyone to get to know me a bit better.”
The radio host also has a sister, Harley Moon, who’s a photographer, songwriter and film maker.
Roman started working with Capital in 2014, landing the flagship Breakfast show job in 2017 after beginning his career on the station by hosting weekend mornings and later The Capital Evening Show.
Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp is loved by millions across the UK for its huge celebrity interviews and Roman has chatted to the likes of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
If you’ve been watching Soccer Aid over the years, you might be confused why Roman plays for the Rest of the World team.
That’s because Roman was actually born in Los Angeles in America and so has dual citizenship in the US and the UK.
Roman is currently single. He was previously in a long-term relationship with ex-girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flury and talked about Sophie during his time in the jungle. The couple were together for almost three years.
Roman has an array of tattoos, including an anchor and a large eagle across his torso, but he also has some tattoos thanks to his celebrity pals Ed Sheeran and Niall Horan.
In 2017, Ed Sheeran badly tattooed “Ed woz ‘ere 2k7” on Roman’s leg live on air for Global’s charity Make Some Noise.
Last year, One Direction singer Niall tattooed “Nice to melt ya” on Roman’s foot as he attempted to write the name of his new single, ‘Nice To Meet Ya’. Niall generously donated £5000 to Make Some Noise afterwards!
Roman also has a tattoo in honour of his best friend Joe Lyons, the producer of Capital Breakfast who sadly died in August this year. The tattoo of a dove on Roman’s leg is the same tattoo, in the same place as Joe’s.
