She has an elder sister, Sajal Aly, an actress and her contemporary, and a younger brother, Ali Syed, an engineer.

The actor Ahad Raza Mir is her brother-in-law (Sajal’s husband).

Ali’s father left her mother and had a second marriage.

In an online interview, she said that she was “angry” on her father, but now shares a “close bond with [him].”

Ali along with her family performed Umrah in 2017, a few days before her mother’s death.

Ali moved to Karachi in 2011 to start her professional career, but moved back to Lahore in 2015.

Aly started her career with a small role in Choti Si Kahani and followed it with a supporting role in the family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain on ARY Digital in 2011, in which she appeared with her sister Sajal Ali.

Aly played the lead in the telefilm Nanu Aur Main (2018), which revolves around the grandfather-granddaughter relationship.

Pakistani actor Ali Ansari left fans teary-eyed after he shared a touching snap from his engagement to fellow actress Saboor Aly.

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a photo where the 26-year-old was visibly in tears while Ali himself could be seen looking upset.

He explained how in the happiest moments of their lives they were missing the loved ones they lost.

Saboor having lost her mother and her fiancee having lost his father were emotional about their absence in the lives’ major event.

“This picture is worth more than a thousand words. The tears falling down her face told me how much she was missing her mother, and deep down in my heart I was missing my father,” he wrote.

“As much as we wished they were with us to be part of and share our happiness, we both know they are in a better place smiling from up above and sending down their blessings.

“For everyone out there, value, respect and spend time with your loved ones. Here is to new beginnings and all kinds of emotions. I got you,” he wrote.

Following the post, Saboor commented saying how her late mother would have been very happy had she been here while expressing her gratitude towards Ali.

“My mother would have been very happy for me today, I am so happy to have found a companion like you. Thankyou for everything,” she commented.
