When we mention the names of some of the leading and well known actresses of the Pakistan television industry, then on the top of the list we never miss out mentioning with the name of Sajal Ali. She is one of the dynamic actresses of the television world who got the huge sum of fame and success in just the small time frame of the career establishment.

She was not born and raised up in Karachi. She was born in Lahore and has spent much of the years living there. Then her parents got separated and they shifted to Karachi. She has done her intermediate from Karachi.

Sharing one of the incidents, she shared in one of her interviews that one of the director said her that her voice was very ‘patli’ and she was like, what?

In one of the interviews she added that she love playing the weak girl characters all the time because at the end of the serials, that weak girl comes up with the strong message. She has done so many roles in her career such as mentally challenged girl in Sannata, and an immature girl in Nanhi.

So many times sajal ali mother has shared a phrase with her ‘log kya kahengai?’ and she has always reply as, ‘Logon ki parwa hai humein?’ I’m a little short-tempered when it comes to that phrase.

She has never thought about becoming the actress as she had a dream to move into the business studies and be a business woman.

She do take her mother as one of the strongest and inspirational character of her life. Her mother is expired due to cancer.

She has no particular dream to work along with Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan. She just focus on getting a good character.

Gul e Rana is one such project that is closest to her heart.

Ahad Raza Mir ‘s first on screen appearance was with Mawra Hocane in Sammi. While his role in the serial wasn’t that prominent, the actor managed to leave a mark, making the fans anticipate about his upcoming works.

Ahad would next be seen in Farhat Ishtiaq’s Yakeen Ka Safar, which starred his now-favourite co-star and fiance, Sajal Aly.

With long locks and boy-next-door looks, the actor’s character, Asfandyar falls for Zubia, a small town girl with a traumatic past. The couple’s sizzling onscreen chemistry had fans going gaga over not just Mir’s looks but the splendid equation he and the lady with sparkling eyes shared with each other. The anticipation kept on building up.

It wasn’t until Yakeen Ka Safar gained immense popularity that anyone understood what a charismatic couple Ahad and Sajal would prove to be. And that’s when fans started rooting for them to get together in real life as well.

And not so much to our surprise, the reel-life turned real-life and announced engagement in an adorable Instagram post.

The couple shared a picture of the two from their ceremony with a caption, “Here’s to new beginnings. Today we are happy to announce that with the blessings of our families we are officially engaged. Our special day will even be more special with the love and prayers of our family, friends and fans.”

As the pair finally made it official, we look back at their relationship over the years.

Essaying medical students, the couple’s portrayal of Dr Asfi and Dr Zubia in Yakeen Ka Safar won hearts all across the telly. People saw them, rooted for them and hoped they’d come out stronger by the end of the show. And so they did. When Ehteshamuddin announced period drama Aangan, the audience thought of no better duo to play Jamil and Chammi.

What makes their onscreen chemistry work is a very similar approach to the craft, according to Ahad. “I think the best part of working together is that we work the same way. We approach things the same way. We see our work the same way, so maybe that’s why people enjoy our chemistry so much,” he had said in an earlier interview.

And we can’t agree more.

“I’m not scared of it (the onscreen pairing) getting exhausted, but I do fear of people capitalising on it,” Ahad remarked. “But here’s the thing: you might get Ahad and Sajal in a drama together but you’ll get us at a very different angle.”

While Sajal had clearly said she wouldn’t WANT TO TALK ABOUT HER PERSONAL LIFE and only respond to criticism regarding her work, it didn’t stop fans from speculating about her relationship with Mir.

But as many would agree, the two are huge supporters of each other’s work. Ahad had praised Sajal numerous times and promised the audience that Sajal was at her finest in Aangan.

In an earlier interview with BBC Asian Network, the Parwaaz Hai Junoon star addressed the speculation of dating Sajal for the first time.

“I’ve met Sajal at a really good time in my life. She knows me for who I am, which I think is a beautiful thing. I’ve loved working with her. Apart from that, she’s a very special individual,” the actor had said.

Sajal, on the other head, was all praises for Ahad’s recent project in which he played one of the most prominent princes in literature, Hamlet.

“Ahad, I have to admit that there’s nobody like you. Playing Hamlet is an accomplishment. The language, the emotions, the impact of the character was so well portrayed,” she had written in a heartfelt Insta post. When Ahad was heavily criticised for his rendition of 1960s classic, Ko Ko Korina, the Mom actor CAME TO HIS DEFENSE and wrote, “Love it or hate it, your call but you don’t have to go to town insulting someone’s efforts.”

Talking about how their families are each other’s biggest fans, Ahad had commented, “I think we’re both huge supporters of each other. My family is a big supporter of her. We love her, we love her work. She’s a fantastic person.”

Ahad’s mom’s Instagram is scattered with pictures of the starlet, lauding her on multiple occasions.

In 2018, when the two bagged the Best Couple award as well as Best Actor and Best Actress accolades, Sajal’s sister, Saboor shared how both of them are set for wonders. “From the moment Sajal started working with Ahad, I knew that these two will go on to create a great chemistry on screen as Ahad was just as hardworking as her sister,” she had said.
