Sonali Phogat was an Indian actress and politician. She died on 22 August 2022 in Goa.
She started her television career in the year 2006 when she appeared as an anchor in a Haryanvi show on Doordarshan.
In 2016, her husband, Sanjay Phogat, died in mysterious circumstances at his farmhouse in Hisar.
In 2019, she appeared in the web series- THE STORY OF BADMASHGARH.
She was very active on various social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.

On 23 August 2022, Phogat was declared brought dead to St Anthony Hospital in Anjuna, Goa. Initially, police suspected that she died of a suspected heart attack. Goa Police soon filed a murder case after the autopsy report showed blunt force injuries to her.
The two major accused Sudhir Sangvan and Sukhwinder Singh got arrested by the Goa Police on 25 August.
